Eleven-year-old Sam McQueen, who has leukemia, writes a book during the last three months of his life, in which he tells about what he would like to accomplish, how he feels, and things that have happened to him.

From the start you feel a closeness to Sam. This is his story and it is an exceptional story.
He is so brave, but you can also feel that he is very afraid of what will happen to him.
He also has hope, that is what makes him so strong.
It is an amazing story but it is also a very sad story as we all know how it ends.
Thank you to his mother Sally for finishing the book for him and letting us all see a bit of his life.
I give this one 4 1/2 ****
